We look forward to sharing the High Holy Days 2025/5786 with you! The full calendar of Beth El services and celebrations is below, along with information about our Visiting Rabbi for the Days of Awe.

All attendees will be required to have a High Holy Days Pass in order to enter the synagogue, for security purposes. There will be two types of Passes:

​

  • Member Pass for MEMBERS who have joined or renewed for the 2025-26 Membership Year 

       

       A physical Member Pass will be mailed to all current members' postal address, and a digital               version will be emailed. 

 

       If you have not yet joined or renewed your membership, please do so by September 1 (Labor             Day). Your considerate adherence to the deadline is a great help during this busy season for               staff -- thank you!!

  • Guest Pass for NON-MEMBERS, who are always welcome to worship with us free of charge, but must register

      Please click here to complete our Guest Registration form. You will receive a physical and/or              digital Guest Pass.

​

Visiting Rabbi
Deborah A. Hirsch

Rabbi Hirsch retired from the active rabbinate after 41 years in December 2023, having held congregational and organizational positions. A native of Chicago, Rabbi Hirsch spent her entire rabbinic career in the metro New York area. From 2021-23, she focused on rabbinic searches, including serving as the Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR) Interim Director of Congregational Search Services; she has also held CCAR officer and committee chair roles. From 2010-2020, she held several successive Interim Rabbi and other senior staff positions at synagogues in New York City and Westchester. Prior to this, she served as the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ)'s Director of Regions, after having directed its Greater New York Council of Reform Synagogues. Before joining the URJ, she was Rabbi of East End Temple in New York City for 15 years. She began her rabbinic career at Temple Beth-El in Great Neck, NY. She was ordained and holds Doctor of Ministry and honorary Doctor of Divinity degrees from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Cincinnati. She and her spouse currently reside in the Berkshires in Massachusetts.
